Elder Prabhu Ravindran - India Bangalore Mission

Hey all, Yeahhhhhhh!!!!!.... I have completed one month in full time mission and I felt it was like a week ago I left my home... HAHAHA I am just kidding    well how are all and how is everyone at your home. I doing great here in Erode District and I am so happy to serve here. Last week we had a baptism of Sister Nandini and she is awesome in remembering things, without reading the scripture she can memorize the ten commandments. I felt like wow at first even I couldn't remember them a lot.   The field is so white here and already to harvest, all we need to do is get to know about them and help them understand the true doctrine of Christ. At times its hard when they go out of the topic and we strive hard to get them back on the lesson. Its fun to hear about what they share but everyone has lots of question in life just like how I had when I got to know about the gospel and I feel so blessed to answer to their questions. Hey Everyone, Finally I finished my training and now I have been assigned for Erode branch, Coimbatore District. Its amazing to start the mission here in erode, the people are awesome, loving caring and there is lot of work needs to be done here. My trainer is Elder Rahul and he is Utah, USA. He is an awesome trainer and already he started to teach many things on mission... I love when he said "we need to put obedience in action" I just loved the way he said and I am sure  i am gonna learn and apply in mission as well.. The other pic is the one taken in Manila airport and the driver picked us from MTC early and dropped us like 2 hours even before we can check in... so we decided to sit on the floor and wait for the next check in. Dear all, How are all doing. I am doing great and finally reached India for Orientation so that the mission president will tell us about the transfer.  So 19 days in MTC Manila was an awesome experience, learnt about the gospel and importance of Holy ghost, It is most important while sharing the gospel. I am so happy here waiting for my first transfer.  19 days I was waiting for enter the temple and I did learn about the patience is also important to wait for answer. I kept praying so that one day I can enter into the house of the lord and it did happen on the 15 AUG 2017 where India was celebrating Independence and I was enjoying the happiness in the house of the lord. It was a deep spiritual experience I had that day. I felt joy and peace while being seated in the Celestial room. ​Hey all, Hello everyone, so this is my 2 week here in MTC and already learnt so many things which are important in our individual life. The best thing I learnt in MTC so far is to listen to your HOLY GHOST and always teach with the power of HOLY GHOST without which we cannot share the message to the people. Throughout the week so far I was just teaching my investigator here on MTC however now I strongly feel that I am the servant of the lord who has been assigned to preach the gospel in his name. The moment I felt in my heart I knew for sure that this is the only way to know about him and when I started the apply the doctrine in my life, then the testimony which I carried so far till now has become even more stronger. I know for sure that this is true gospel (I felt it and I know even you felt it)  The days here spent are sometimes ups and sometimes down. Hey All, Coming to MTC MANILA was the best so far in my life's new journey. I learnt many things about the gospel so far. I learnt the main thing is that we should first convert our self and come unto Christ only then we can share the gospel onto the nation. however I wondered for 1 week in my heart about the repentance and atonement of JC. Applying that in our life is not so easy as well. I feel I should completely repent of my sins I have done so far so that I can enter the temple worthily. Its been one week in MTC and the temple is closed for next 2 weeks. I felt so bad that I couldn't make it on first week. its very hard though but president Carlos who is our MTC president promised that before we leave we will be endowed and I will hopefully receive the Patriarchal blessing.  Love, Elder Ravindran

Hey all, I finally reached Manila :) it is an amazing island and awesome place to visit, just dropped in a hotel to take some rest and by tomorrow morning I will be going to the training center and there on for next 3 weeks I will learn about the Jesus Christ and his teachings. I am happy that I choose this decision in my life. I already started to miss you all and the happy moments we spent. Do your best at the work you are doing and take care of your health.
