Well my week was awesome as we had our Zone Conference and followed by that the next day we had a special devotional from the Church Historian and for the first time they have visited "INDIA", along with them we were so happy to meet Elder Evans from the Asia area presidency. So based on that devotion I learnt that its very very very important to keep records of our life journey so that our future generation will be benefited. Hey guys, how are you all and thank you all for reading my blog and I hope it will be fun to read and you might learn something from it. Trust me the "blog thing" is not from me, Its my brother who started it and now when I keep sending weekly messages I feel like yeah that would be so nice to read for myself when I finish my mission.  Yet an another week in Coimbatore and I enjoyed a lot serving here. We also got one more assignment which is Semmedu Branch, let me tell you something about the place the Church is surrounded by, That beautiful Church is covered with huge mountains and the weather there is so amazing!! you would feel like the other side of heaven! Week 11: "Hold up your light and let it shine before men"

Hello buddies, I am so happy to write once again! In-fact I just type them but its all from my heart!!  wow what an amazing general conference we had last week. It was my first conference away from home and as an missionary I was totally focused on it and learned something from them. Trust me I didn't sleep this time. The spirit was so strong that all the talks given by the general authorities and leaders of the Church was so uplifting and personally it all meant for me!!! out of which one talk touched my heart so much, from President Uchtdorf and he shared about spiritual darkness where we need to be away from and in a long run sometimes we face spiritual darkness where we would leave the gospel and there would be lots of trials and problems we need to face, instead of that let us all be spiritual strong so that we can be bearers of light and when you are bearers of light, let it shine forth to those who are facing the darkness in their life, so that their burdens can be low...

Week 10: Unexpected transfer

Image
Hello everybody!!!! I had a great and challenging week!! At first we had transfer although I thought that I won't be transferred from Erode but mission president called and stated that I will be moving to Coimbatore and I was like spending the days in Erode until Christmas so I was so much prepared for it, however there is work in Coimbatore and due to less native language speaker missionaries, the work is getting hard here in South, but I know that lord will bless us and answer to our prayers and I believe that there are more prospective missionaries who are preparing for mission and I hope you all will come soon :) missionary work is awesome and I am so excited for to serve in Coimbatore 1st Branch. People are soooo humble and we had testimony  Sunday  where members had so strong testimony, they also respect the class timings where right after sacrament meeting got finished they straightaway stepped outside the chapel and then on time they started the  Sunday ...
