Week 12: The road to salvation is a rough ride!

Hey guys, how are you all and thank you all for reading my blog and I hope it will be fun to read and you might learn something from it. Trust me the "blog thing" is not from me, Its my brother who started it and now when I keep sending weekly messages I feel like yeah that would be so nice to read for myself when I finish my mission.

Yet an another week in Coimbatore and I enjoyed a lot serving here. We also got one more assignment which is Semmedu Branch, let me tell you something about the place the Church is surrounded by, That beautiful Church is covered with huge mountains and the weather there is so amazing!! you would feel like the other side of heaven! I love the nature there and looking at god's creation designed so beautifully sometimes I wonder how beautiful are we created and the lord has placed us in this world to be tested. Yesterday one sister gave a wonderful talk about our heavenly father and the love to his people. She shared how merciful our heavenly father is to sacrifice his only begotten son to save us all, the entire world. It is very hard to let go of your beloved ones for the sake of saving the world but our heavenly father did it. There is more deeper feeling to know for ourselves about the role heavenly father plays in our life. Think about it!

The road to our salvation is not on a plain, empty, clean road but it is on a rough, muddy, full of thorns, humps, speed-breaker and so on!. That's how life is however there is a promise given which is to follow the Christ and do all the things which he did, for even in this unbalanced road you will gain a stronger testimony. So does the missionary work, it is a challenging one for with man which is not possible but through all is possible. I would love to be a possible missionary for there is happiness in this.

I made vermicelli and it came up good and I hope I will be a better cook next time. Take care and enjoy every moment in your life and always remember #Helives and through him all things are possible.

Love,
Elder Ravindran
