Week 14 & 15: Be ye like a little children!!!
Hey my lovely friends guess what I prepared last night - Chapati
I myself kneaded the dough and cooked it!! It was a awesome experience. I felt like homemade chapati.
How are all and once again I am sorry that I didn't email last week as we were roaming outside and didn't have much time to email.
My days in mission is going so good and I am able to see the love of Christ through the families we visit and it makes me sanctify the great priesthood we brethren hold. It is a privilege we act by god in the lives of people you visit and I have experienced it last week, the power of priesthood plays a major role in this last days. Isn't it wonderful to hear that!!! I plead the active priesthood brethren please sanctify yourselves and exercise wherever opportunities pops out and I know you will feel that you are a wise servant in the hands of others.
Last week we once again went to semmedu and started to visit those families we did not get chance to spend time. There in one family I saw a little girl and she is like about 3 or 4 years old (I am not sure but very small girl) to my surprise she started to recite the 13 articles of faith from 1-8 and I was amazed by that small girl and at times I feel I can't even memorize 2 or 3 and she nailed it. The parents played a vital role in that little girl's life and so do you parents out there can ask your little children to recite on it and I know they will be the best future missionaries. I love that girl a lot and her prayers made me cry that at times we ask so many things from heavenly father and she asked one thing that is to "bless heavenly father himself" I know that no one would ask like that but that little girl did and that't what Jesus Christ expects us to be like a little children.
I know for sure mission life teaches you something that is important for you and I have gained a better knowledge and lord's plan for our life and at same time we are able to see investigators coming forth to know the gospel.
I love Coimbatore and the work here is getting improved by the means of fasting and praying about it.
I was so excited to hear my brothers Hansen and Rakesh returning with honor from mission!!! I know for sure they will be a great leaders in their wards.
I love you and enjoy the upcoming children's day activity.
Take care and #rock the world!!!!
Love,
Elder Ravindran
