Week 26: A golden Baptism!!!!

Hey everyone, How are you all and how is your new year going on, I thank heavenly father for providing this life on earth to come and experience our happiness, pains and trails. Its amazing to get prepared to meet god. 
                Our week was awesome, we had a baptism service of brother Javahar Chandra Kumar at 1st Branch Coimbatore, let me tell you about this Baptism, it was the first one and a long waited Baptism for me, about this brother, he is the golden investigator whom I have met so far in mission, I remember him coming on Christmas activity and acted as a Santa Claus and entertained the members during that activity, he then was interested to know more about the gospel, he was amazed by the leaders here as no matter rich or poor, the leader of the Branch came forward and helped one of the member's home in moving. This amazed that young men to know more, we then taught him about the gospel the first 3 lessons and he was interested to know more. Then one fine Sunday, the branch president was talking about the importance of Tithing, knowing about it the next Sunday he came forward and started to pay tithing even though he was not a member and then he decided to get baptized in the lord's Church. This strengthened my testimony after hearing this from him. It was his first Salary from the new company and he wanted to pay first to the lord. Then I paused for a moment and thought of my Baptism when I entered in water and made a covenant with our father in heaven, Elder Jenkins and Elder Rowe helped me enter into a covenant and now I am helping this wonderful brother to get into the water was something so special. I thank lord for letting me come on mission and do his work. Truly this work is something special and this 2 years will never come back. There is lots to learn from mission and its wonderful that I completed 6months. I am once again excited for upcoming months to experience the lords work.

I am so happy to hear about brother Michael Joseph from KGF who is called to serve in IBM and Sekar for IDM. I encourage the youngmens to work on it and come and see for yourself the fruit of the mission.

I remember last new year roaming on the mid night with dear friends, wishing everybody even if they are strangers it didn't matter and having some fun on roads, a wonderful meal with friends and family. It was wonderful and a time that would never come back. Week 20&21: "Willing to bear one another's burden"

Hey everybody, I am soooooo sorry for not emailing you all, Last week we went out as it was Elder Abel's last P-day so we spent our time with him. However our week went so well as it was light the world program and we were able to print the banner and put it outside the chapel so that the people who walk can see it and we did receive some people and some stand and see from outside the main road as we projected the light the world video on the church wall. Its amazing to see it from outside.  My days on mission is going fine and today my companion Elder Abel finished his 2 years mark and traveled back home. So for next 10 days we three will be on trio, me elder miller and thiviyanathan and then I will be getting a companion. Week 13: Start where you are!!!

Hey everybody how are you all and once again I'm excited to write to you all!. I see that most of you have had a wonderful YSA conference held in Bangalore. Good job Bangalore!!!!! I really missed this YSA conference and I always wanted to be in the committee to help and support the team but based on the feedback you have rocked it!!!!! I love you guys, you did it!. I heard that my brother danced!! HAHA!!! I received few pics from him and you all look so wonderful. Well my week was awesome as we had our Zone Conference and followed by that the next day we had a special devotional from the Church Historian and for the first time they have visited "INDIA", along with them we were so happy to meet Elder Evans from the Asia area presidency. So based on that devotion I learnt that its very very very important to keep records of our life journey so that our future generation will be benefited.
