Elder Prabhu Ravindran - India Bangalore Mission

Hey Everybody!!!!!  Wow, what  a wonderful week it was.  I  and my companion had so much fun and we were able to find new people to teach. It was a twist of  an experience  I had last week. Well to start off we had many  rejections  on the work of the lord and I was able to experience with my new companion and that was a lesson for us to not grant people easily. "Salvation is not a cheaper experience" It is a deeper meaning to it. So we didn't get disappointed by this, we still moved forward and focused on the work. I love my companion with all my heart. Later I was lost in a  confused  state and was wondering what happened in the past one  year, leaving  my home to serve the lord. I then remembered the best moments happened exactly last year before I left home. Those happy moments helped me to come back and away from distractions. Hey Everybody!!! How are you all doing and how was your week?  Well, mine  was awesome because lots happened during this past one week. First of  all, my  beloved companion Elder Richards leaves home as he finished his mission. I will always be thankful for his service and teaching me all that was needed for this promised land Vijayawada. I am honoured to serve with him for the past two months and we enjoyed  a lot  doing the lord's service.  Now, since  he left I have no companion so President asked Elder Vuppada to be my companion for  the mean time . Then we both planned to work with our area and implement those things that were needed for our area. During that time I had my birthday and my dear family and friends sent me gifts and wishes over a video clip which was very impressing and I cried  a lot  watching it.  I truly loved  it and I thank my dear brother for surprising me with that. Dear Family, Friends and well-wisher. I  want to  share something with you all that with all my whole heart I love everybody who reads this email and people who view from my brother's blog!!! Everybody who replies to my email. I just  want to   say  I love you. Lately I have been going  into  depression and wondering what is this feeling all about and all of sudden. Why am I feeling home sick... I  want to  meet my mom... many things running in my mind. Then I turned to scripture in 1 Nephi 15:8 Have ye inquired of the lord? I then nodded my head... YES!!! I didn't inquire with the lord. I knelt down and started to pray and pour out everything to the father in heaven. After that  prayer, I  felt peace that my load was light. I then pondered how  it was possible . Then I moved to a video of Prince of Peace. It was Jesus Christ who took care of my burden. I felt joy that moment and I knew then that lord knows me better than ...

Hey Everybody!!!  Yes, this  is it!!! I wanted to mention the same subject line so that it would be more meaningful. So  yeah, this week  we made it. We found one best place to baptise our investigators.. Its Krishna river, one of our dear  friends  offered his guest house for us to use it for Baptism!!  Wow, what  a blessing it is for Vijayawada.  Truly, we  struggled to find  one, but  heavenly father answered with this wonderful place. Such an awesome place to perform this sacred ordinance. I thought 9 Baptism would be great for this  week, but  god had  a different plan , he gave us more this week!! What a surprise it was and what a twist during the week!! We had 11 wonderful souls entered  into  the water who made a covenant with the god in heaven. What a blessing!! Hey Everybody!! I love you all and  it's  amazing to be here on  a mission !! I have enjoyed every  moment  so far and I have one round trip back to home in about a year!! Well When I look back  at  what happened in  the  past 11 months. I can see how far I have traveled and how much I have gained the knowledge about the Savior. I have enjoyed in feasting the words of Christ and  it's  amazing to know about the gospel and  the doctrines  of the Savior. Truly its the best in this world!!! Well, I  had an awesome week so far and its  so  good to be here in Vijayawada. So we  have prepared  our investigators for Baptism for July 7th this coming Saturday and we have completed all the preparation for them and I am eagerly waiting for that wonderful day to happen for them. The lord is very pleased  with  the work we are doing here and the missionaries around the world. I love this great work...
