Week 85: "Take the Ladder"

Hello Everyone,

This week has been great and guess what the work is getting better, we found a new family in Tiruppur and the members are growing in personal testimony about the Gospel. I am happy to be here at this time of mission. Great things are going to happen in this promised land and we needed lots of support from members and missionaries. I can witness the help and support the members provide.

Good news - I am gaining weight again ha-ha... Need to work out and I totally miss my beautiful Mustang Cycle. Hopefully in some day we will have bicycles :D Last week we went to Marudamalai with the Zone and a visit to Metur Dam near Erode. It was a good time spent with the fellow missionaries. Also, we had our Family Home Evening with the members and part member family who are going to be Baptized in the coming months. It was a good time spent together.

During the last week, I was depressed kinda left alone and then I started to read my journals as of last years, later I felt comfortable, that helped me to focus on the work, get back on the track, boosted me to learn more about the Atonement of the Savior Jesus Christ. We all fall in the pit failing in the challenges that we face, trails, afflictions, we think that I don't deserve to be here anymore and so on it goes but as along as we are in the pit, things become worse and worse and worse. That is not the heavenly fathers plan for us to suffer in the pit, instead he provides a ladder for us to climb and come out of the pit. That Ladder in our life is the Savior Jesus Christ and his infinite Atonement for you and me. There is always him in the story no matter what story you carry on, He is there!!! We all tend to forget that cos opposition is stronger. I believe that the very moment when you come to understand the infinite love that he gave his life for you is when you realize to come out of it. So sweet is the Gift of Repentance. There is always room to change and improve, I have seen in the past week and I know I can be better until and unless I have his grace in my life. Our Savior not only is the ladder instead he comes down to the pit and helps us to climb the ladder.

That great lesson I learnt from my companion and I am grateful for the Lord to help me understand at this time of mission. So don't you ignore the Ladder in your life which is Jesus the Christ.

Alright too much spiritual, May you all have a wonderful week ahead, love you all dearly.

Always remember to Rock the World!!!
