Week 8 & 9: "Lost sheep - search for it until you quit"

Kamusta!!

How are you all doing? How is everyone at the Church and the love of Bangalore ☺ I am doing awesome here in Erode and Its amazing to do missionary work. I am so sorry that I couldn't email you last week, guess what we went to Ooty😎 I was flying in the air!!! Hehe!! The Coimbatore zone planned for an outing trip to Ooty so we had to travel a lot from erode. It was a tough ride but I enjoyed and this was my third visit to Ooty and I miss those moments with our gang 😁 Anyways we had lots of fun and we got back to regular activities at Erode.

Last 2 weeks was of lots of travel and there was lots of learning to me and my companion, out of which there was one thing that struck me for a while and it was "lost sheep" what did that mean to me? Well we all compare to the people who gained the gospel at some certain point and due to some reason they had to stop coming to the Church. This happened to me as well! For there will be lots of contention and where does it comes from is the father of all evil. The gospel taught us not to give heed to it and at some point, most of us fall and its very hard for us to come out of it. You might ask how did I come out of it? This is what I did: I knelt and prayed to our father in heaven and I remembered the covenant which I made with him that I will always, always follow him. No matter what people think of you. You are not here for pleasing the people around you. You are here to be tested, become more like Jesus Christ and prepare yourself to meet your creator and stand at the judgement day.

Dear Brothers and Sisters we are at war and there are lots of people who are wandered around and still looking for happiness in their life. All you need to do is as a member of the Church, Magnify your calling. Think for a moment what you are doing, is it pleasing the lord? When you work on the lost sheep and when you find them just as the shepherd found his lost one, you will be filled with great joy and happiness and thus lord will also be pleased of your work. I share this because I felt so happy when me and my companion found a lost sheep and that sister came back to Church. We were so happy to see her at the Church.

So don't quit and be happy in your calling for that really helps you build up the kingdom of God (Mosiah 2:17)

Enjoy the Ooty pics and Rock the world😎

Love,
Elder Ravindran
