Week 45: "Christ paid a debt which he did not owe, because we owed a debt which we could not pay!!!"

Hey Everybody!!!

I am doing super awesome here in Vijayawada!!! I am getting darker day by day but that doesn't matter, which matters most is the work of the lord and I am so happy to see people coming to Church wanting to know more about Christ. We had a very successful activity based on the "TEMPLES" and we were able to see our loved investigators attending the program and learning a lot about the temples and what we do inside!!! Really I learnt new things which I wasn't aware of and by that my testimony gained and we didn't stop there, we continued  to visit investigators home and asking them how they felt about the temple, their reply was "what should we do to go inside one day" we simply shared the message about the first step to enter inside the kingdom of heaven which is "Baptism" and we extended the Savior's invitation to make the first step and they said YES!!! I was like yes!!! that's what its about and our work. I love that family a lot - Durga Rao Family and his brother Samba Siva Rao. They are amazing and three people from their family have decided to experience the baptism this coming Saturday and rest all next month July first week. Isn't it amazing to see how people are in need of the truth. I love being here and excited for this new week!!

One more thought I wanna share is about the Savior - Jesus Christ. The Subject of this email is from Elder Bednar which I learnt last week when he visited India. Once again  -  "Christ paid a debt which he did not owe, because we owed a debt which we could not pay" this quote entered inside my heart very deep so that I can ponder exactly what did Jesus Christ do for me!!! Its beyond words which I can express!! Truly he paid for me which I cannot pay it back, He took care of me and all I need to do is to be thankful and show the respect to him in all we can do.

I really love this missionary work and learning a lot from the servant of the lord helps me to strengthen my testimony and deeper understanding about the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I cannot remember all of it so I record it in the book of Atonement.

I promise you when you learn more about the savior's atonement, you will come to know how much he loved us and how much heavenly father loves us.

I hope and pray to have a good week ahead and don't forget - ROCK THE WORLD!!!

Love,

Elder Ravindran
