Week 46: "The Wonderful Morning of Baptism!!"

Hello everyone!! How are you all and how was your week? Well mine was amazing and best moments I had this last week which I didn't experience ever in my life. I was to able to experience when I am on mission. This is amazing!! We had 5 new souls come unto the fold and able to receive all the blessings that was waiting for them. My experience was this that we had so much difficulty finding the place to baptise our investigators. We prayed every minute looking for a nice place. 

We went out everywhere looking for the place for we didn't find anything until brother Manti calls us and informs that there is one nearby his work place a small pool where we can perform the baptism!!! We were so happy when we heard that and we went out looking for it and I see god has blessed us with a beautiful guest house and on the background a small pool which is far sufficient to Baptise them. We felt it was the right one and we were so happy and thrilled for Saturday to come. We called the investigators and informed them about the place and timing, now the time we fixed was early morning 6:00 AM, Wow I have never seen a Baptism performed early morning nor that I heard of. I was blessed to witness that moment and so was the background of that pool. They had the pool on the riverside and we can literally see the bhavani Islands. It reminded me of Alma Baptising the people in the water near mountain side. This experience and the moment I felt, will carry forward until forever. So it was a wonderful morning of Baptism!!!   

During the week we had heavy rain that hit our schedule for the day but guess what we were stuck in the rain on Tuesday where we had to ride about 25 kms to and fro. Where half way to our longest ride to one appointment we stopped and got so wet in the rain and it reminded me of Bangalore :D wow so awesome it was that I was able to enjoy that moment riding cycle which literally made my shirt dirty with mud spots and my backpack got drenched in the water that allowed my camera, planned everything to be wet. But that's alright I am excited to feel the real missionary work!!!

I remember last new year roaming on the mid night with dear friends, wishing everybody even if they are strangers it didn't matter and having some fun on roads, a wonderful meal with friends and family. It was wonderful and a time that would never come back. Week 20&21: "Willing to bear one another's burden"

Hey everybody, I am soooooo sorry for not emailing you all, Last week we went out as it was Elder Abel's last P-day so we spent our time with him. However our week went so well as it was light the world program and we were able to print the banner and put it outside the chapel so that the people who walk can see it and we did receive some people and some stand and see from outside the main road as we projected the light the world video on the church wall. Its amazing to see it from outside.  My days on mission is going fine and today my companion Elder Abel finished his 2 years mark and traveled back home. So for next 10 days we three will be on trio, me elder miller and thiviyanathan and then I will be getting a companion. Week 13: Start where you are!!!

Hey everybody how are you all and once again I'm excited to write to you all!. I see that most of you have had a wonderful YSA conference held in Bangalore. Good job Bangalore!!!!! I really missed this YSA conference and I always wanted to be in the committee to help and support the team but based on the feedback you have rocked it!!!!! I love you guys, you did it!. I heard that my brother danced!! HAHA!!! I received few pics from him and you all look so wonderful. Well my week was awesome as we had our Zone Conference and followed by that the next day we had a special devotional from the Church Historian and for the first time they have visited "INDIA", along with them we were so happy to meet Elder Evans from the Asia area presidency. So based on that devotion I learnt that its very very very important to keep records of our life journey so that our future generation will be benefited.
