Week 96: "Week 4 - Atonement which was purchased at a very dear price"

Hey everyone, weeks been great and I enjoy being here in Erode, Feels great to see those people whom I once met at the start of my mission and yet I am privileged to serve again with them. Weeks been with lot of twists and turns. I started to think about HOME.. HEHE sorry I am trying to better focus on the work rather being tooooo excited to go home. 

Alright I wanted to share something I felt to share this week. First of I would start with sharing about one thing I learnt from my brother - Vijay Ravindran. 

I remember when my brother returned from his mission, his homecoming talk was about one thing that blessed his life not only on mission but even after completing his mission. As the scripture says - “there be many things to come, and behold there is one thing which is of more important than they all - for behold, the time is not far distant that the Redeemer liveth and cometh among his people”. When my brother shared about the Savior Jesus Christ and his Atonement which comforted, strengthened and healed him at times when he fell. I didn’t realize the most important lesson in my life until I choose to come on mission. Of Course there were times as I became the member of the Church, I did feel his infinite love towards me however I didn’t recognize its magic and its healing power until I fell during my mission, I wasn’t completely fallen or in other words I went through hard times, being lonely, weakened, failed, rejected, not valued by people. I didn’t know what to do. I lost hope! Thinking that I am done.

I also remembered my mission president sharing with me about the Atonement which was purchased at a very dear price and as he shared I felt good about it and I made a plan to seek to learn more about the Savior and his eternal sacrifice for me and for everyone. As I have referred to many talks from the Prophets and the Apostles. I did come to an better understanding about my Savior Jesus Christ, for what He did I couldn’t do all by myself, He gave us all He had. That price was HE our Savior Jesus Christ

That one moment changed everything and because of that one moment, He offered lot of gifts from it that would help us on this beautiful covenant path which leads to our father in heaven. Truly Atonement is a gift from the Savior, with that knowledge I was able to share with the people around me during this past 22 months on mission and I have not given up, I will still continue to share this wonderful Gospel to the people around me, for it brings joy in my soul.

Too much huh??? aiyoo I just felt like sharing with you all. I will be grateful for the leaders even back home who taught me. I feel happy and comfort in the Gospel.
